Nicholas Greco IV, M.S., B.C.E.T.S., C.A.T.S.M., F.A.A.E.T.S., is President and Founder of C3 Education and Research, Inc. Nick has held multiple positions over a 25-year career in clinical operations, project management, multidisciplinary training for civilians and law enforcement, as well as diagnostics and assessment. He has directed, managed, and presented training programs globally across various topics including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, verbal de-escalation techniques, post-traumatic stress disorder, burnout, and vicarious traumatization. He is an author on over 300 book reviews, has presented globally on over 700 professional presentations, and has authored or co-authored over 45 articles in psychiatry and psychology.

He received his undergraduate training in psychology from Benedictine University, his certificate of clinical training in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from the National Center for PTSD Clinical Laboratory and Education Division, and his Master’s degree in Psychology from DePaul University.

He is an approved CIT instructor with the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, a CIT instructor for the Chicago Police Department, CIT Coordinator and Lead CIT Trainer for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office CIT Program, Basic and Advanced CIT Coordinator and CIP Coordinator for NAMI – Kenosha, a Narcan instructor, a QPR Instructor, a Narcan instructor, a Glock Certified Advanced Armorer, a Ruger Armorer, a Certified Pistol and Rifle Instructor, a Range Safety Officer, a Subject Matter Expert for Lexipol/Police One, and Calibre Press, and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor with Public Safety, Fire/EMS, and Higher Education designations.   

He is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), an Associate Member Service Provider of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), an Associate Member Service Provider of the International Managers of Police Academy and College Training (IMPACT), a member of the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association, and a member of the International Public Safety Association (IPSA), Committee Chair for the IPSA Mental Health Section, a member of CIT International, and founding member of Protecting the Guardian, and a Wellness Support Staff Member for Survivors of Blue Suicide (SBS).
